FAQ – NA Freeride World Tour Club

Is it obligatory to book the Freeride World Tour Club courses in advance?

It’s always better to book in advance, especially for the camps, as the places are limited.

More and more bookings are made online and so if you don’t book in advance, there’s a risk that the lessons you wanted may no longer be available once you arrive in Nendaz.

Where is the first meeting point with Neige Aventure?

Once you have booked and received your lesson voucher, your first meeting point will be at the main Ski School office.

Our team will be there to welcome you in English, French, Dutch or German.

They will update you on any last minute news such as weather, special events during the week, confirmation of meeting points etc.

Where are the meeting points?

Nendaz FWTC:

Teenagers on the « Freeride World Tour Club - NA Junior Ski Nendaz » start the 5 first days (Sunday to Thursday) at 09:30 at the NA Red Igloo Tent next to the Lac Noir and finish at 12:00 at the NA Meeting Point 2 sign at the top of the Tracouet cable car lift.

Freeride Friday: Special end to the week. Test your off piste skills across the whole 4 Vallées!

Supervision (by instructor) starts: 08:50 at the bus stop in front of the cash desks at the cable car station (located at the bottom of Tracouet cable car station). Be punctual because the bus won’t wait!

Departures (by bus or cable car) to Siviez: 09:00.
Return (by bus or ski) to the bottom of the Tracouet cable car: 16:00

Any changes will be communicated from the instructor in charge.

How many people are there per instructor?

We accept max. 6 - 8 people per instructor.

Please note: The length of a group lesson with less than 3 people will be adjusted accordingly, as it is then regarded as a private lesson.

Which level do I need for the FWTC Camps?

The camps are especially for the more advanced skiers and snowboarders.

Ski: You can start the course once you have done Energy level.

Snowboard: You can start the course once you have done Rider 1 level.

Will there be time to pick up my skis and lesson tickets in the morning before my lesson starts?

We recommend that you avoid doing this. However it is possible if there is no queue (but this is very rare).

We suggest that you organise everything in advance to ensure the morning runs calmly and smoothly for you.

Is special equipment required for the FWTC Camps?

Normally you should be fine with ‘All Mountain’ skis or snowboards.

However it’s a great opportunity to test some real freeride equipment. Check out our special rental prices with our package deals!

It is obligatory to wear a helmet. If you rent your equipment with NA OnTheMountain Shop, a helmet will be borrowed for free.

For the off-piste activities, participants must be equipped with a DVA in working condition (information from OntheMountain Shop or your instructor).

What lift pass do I need?

The first 5 days of the freestyle camps you will only need a Printse lift pass. For the full Freeride Friday, you’ll need a 4 Vallées pass in order to access the other snow parks.

You can either choose to take only a weekly Printse pass and then upgrade for the Friday or you can take a full week’s 4 Vallées pass and then explore the whole of the 4 Vallées in the afternoons.
